Kim Announces Overwhelming Support
from Buena Park City Council
Today Young Kim announced strong endorsements from the Buena Park City Council in her campaign for Supervisor. Kim announced receiving endorsements from Mayor Dr. Elizabeth Swift, Mayor Pro Tem Virginia Vaughn, Fred Smith and Councilman Steve Berry.
Kim responded to the news stating, “I’m honored to have such overwhelming support from the City of Buena Park. I worked hard building lasting relationships in the community and I’m honored that they trust me to continue to represent them on the Board of Supervisors. I will always do my best to make the City of Buena Park proud to have me as their Supervisor.”
Earning the support of four out of five of the Buena Park City Council continues to prove Kim’s status as the frontrunner in the election to replace Supervisor Shawn Nelson who is prohibited from running for reelection due to term limits.
On the endorsement Mayor Swift stated, “Buena Park is a community of diverse cultures and hard working people, and Young Kim understands the needs of residents here. She has represented our interests in the past as an elected official, and I’m confident Young will work tirelessly again to ensure Buena Park has a voice. Young Kim has my support for Board of Supervisors–District 4.”
