ORANGE COUNTY, CA – -Today Young Kim announced receiving the endorsement of Supervisor Lisa Bartlett (5th District) in her campaign for Supervisor. Supervisor Bartlett joins Supervisors Andrew Do (1st District) and Michelle Steel (3rd District) in supporting Young Kim’s campaign and gives Kim a majority of the Board of Supervisors.
Bartlett cited Kim’s experience as reason for endorsement. “Young Kim has served our community for decades, she knows the issues affecting this community,” said Supervisor Bartlett. “Kim has always put her community first and we can trust that she’ll continue to do that as Supervisor.”
Kim responded to the endorsement, “I’m honored to have the endorsement of Supervisor Bartlett and the other Board Members in my campaign. Whether it be public safety, transportation, or the economy, our community has some immediate issues that will require swift and planned responses. With the majority of the Board of Supervisors now supporting my campaign, I’m ready to tackle these issues on day one at the county level.”

Orange County’s 4th District includes all or parts of the cities of Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Fullerton, Placentia and La Habra. Supervisor Shawn Nelson currently represents the 4thDistrict but is prohibited from running for election due to term limits.
