ORANGE COUNTY, CA— Today Young Kim announced receiving the endorsement of Orange County Supervisors Michelle Steel and Andrew Do. The announcement shows Kim’s campaign to become Supervisor for the 4th District continuing to gain momentum.
“Young is an experienced leader,” said Supervisor Michelle Steel. “Young has been effective at getting things done at every level of government and she will be prepared to lead as Supervisor on day one. She doesn’t need on the job training, Young Kim is ready to take on the county’s homeless problem, reduce government waste and make our community safer. That’s why she has my support.”
Young Kim remains the frontrunner in the election to replace Supervisor Shawn Nelson. She recently reported raising more than $120,000 at a single event for her campaign. In addition to the support from Supervisors Steel and Do, Kim has reported key endorsements from Sheriff Sandra Hutchens and District Attorney Tony Rackauckas.
Orange County’s 4th District includes all or parts of the cities of Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Fullerton, Placentia and La Habra.
